Thanks to this great opportunity, we realized our dream of learning in a world famous university. Most of us came to the USA for the first time, we enjoyed a feast of seeing and hearing indeed. From Washington DC to Philadelphia, to Boston, to New York, and finally to New Haven, we were so excited when seeing so much famous places we’ve known since childhood. After visiting White House, University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, MIT, State of Liberty, we finally arrived at Yale to start our learning journey.

Comparing to Pennsylvania’s mystery, Harvard’s colorfulness and MIT’s modernization, Yale can be considered as an ancient college city. The dining hall and bell tower all make you the feel like in the movie of Harry Porter, which is also verified by many Americans —— “ Yale has the most beautiful campus”…

In the SOM of Yale, by attending the lectures, we were greatly enlightened by professors’ theories and international classmates’ ideas. By joining in the discussion, we also enjoyed the moment of thought collision. Here, female professors have also aroused my admiration from the bottom of heart and made me rethink female’s power and influence.

On the day of company visit to New York city, walking through the data center of world stock exchange – Bloomberg, we marveled at the company’s world’s advanced technologies; after visiting the headquarters of Goldman Sachs, Alcoa, Credit Suisse and Chelsea Piers, one cannot help thinking of the great attraction of working in Manhattan.

For the final presentation, we were divided into groups for working together. At the beginning of the group preparation, I told my group: “We need to be exceptional, and think whatever other groups would not think about”. Everybody agreed, and then we began our creative work. Thanks to Ronan’s magic, Felipe and Pallavi’s excellent performance, and Xiaobing’s wonderful PPT skills, we finally won the champion. After one year’s IMBA study at Renmin, I can now feel very comfortable in such an international environment and find it so interesting to work together with people from different countries.

Besides Yale’s arrangement, we have also added some spices to this global network week. Our Renmin classmate Lotus, who was enrolled into Yale’s MAM program of 2014, invited us to enjoy cooking together. That evening we were cooking, talking, and laughing… a lot of fun which would be kept in our memory forever.

“One week seems not enough…”, that’s what I wrote down on the paper of participants’ feedbacks. Time always flies by quickly and so we need to cherish everything around us for any tiny moment. All your efforts will repay, and draw a most beautiful color in your life!
