发布时间:2015-11-03

On November 2, 2015 , David Bach, a senior Associate Dean for Executive MBA and global program came to Renmin Business School and presented a dual-degree program with Yale School of Management.

MAM (Master of Advanced Management) is a one-year degree program at Yale School of Management for exceptional MBA gratuates from Global Network Advanced Management schools who inspire to become a great global leader for business and society. During his lecture MBA students learned a lot not only about the MAM Yale program, but also about where leaders come from, and this point is closely connected with GNAM schools such as RBS.

Leadership plays an important role in modern life. People are not born with leader skills, you have to become a leader, develop your skills. David explained that future leaders come from a business school that is deeply connected to the aggregate expertise and resources of a great university; and from a business school that is globally connected in ways that directly benefit students.

The mission of MAM Yale School of Management is to educate leaders for business and society. The program will help us because it is the most global US business school. Yale School of Management is the founder of Global Network for Advanced Management which includes 27 Top Business Schools in a Flat World Context.

Students in the MAM have to choose about 80% of elective courses and only 20% core courses. There are more than 100 courses at Yale School of Management and classes across Yale’s graduate and professional schools in areas such as law, global affairs, public health, engineering, environmental studies, liberal arts, and astronomy. The purpose of this program is to become a global leader for business and society.

MAM in Yale University will give many opportunities in future, because you will communicate with people all over the world. The program tries to bring together MBA students from one part of the world and connect them with ones from different part of the world. For example, this year they have students from 32 countries and 18 GNAM schools.

Many MAM graduates work at famous multinational corporations such as: Google, BCG The Boston Consulting Group, UBER, PWC, Amazon.com, Citi Bank, Visa, World Economic Forum, etc. You will work not only in US subsidiaries, but in many different countries. It will help you to improve and deepen your cross-cultural awareness, give you many new friends and opportunities, maybe in future you will help to develop ties between countries all over the world.

It is a really big chance for RBS MBA students to become a part of the “global lifestyle” and become a great leader.
